Medicare
just
released
the
following
transmittal
on “Renewed
Moratorium
on
Outpatient
Therapy
Caps”.
The
link
is
immediately
below.
The
Moratorium
went
into
effect
on
Monday,
December
8,
when
President
Bush
signed
this
legislation.
Therefore,
the
Cap
is
no
longer
in
effect
as
of
Monday. Download

American

(APTA) has
created a
Medicare
Fee Schedule
Calculator
to help APTA
members access
a good estimate
of the Medicare
allowable
amount for
a particular
service or
current procedural
terminology
(CPT) code.
This tool
will be especially
useful to
members who
need to know
what Medicare
reimburses
for a particular
service,
but cannot
access their
Medicare
fee schedule
through their
carrier or
intermediary. More
